I was bummed out today because I found out that the 3-foot tank that I have nicely planted and all my plants are growing so nicely in and looking so good is still leaking. I had re-sealed it a couple of months back, and thought that had done the job, but I guess not. I was very bummed out, but I've been doing some searching and it's looking like I have found two 3-foot tanks for £35, so I can replace my leaky one and I can replace another one that isn't in very good condition. So, I am feeling quite happy with myself right about now and will feel even better tomorrow when I have those 2 tanks!

I think she's saying that we can choose to leave our problems and demons behind but they can't. It's not an act or overexaggeration or trying to be difficult as it's a true brain condition...
That's the way I took it at least!

I know Kilo was talking about alcohol... didn't see anything about being bipolar.
I had a friend a LONG time ago who was bipolar and her mom wouldn't let her date anyone because of the condition.

Yeah Lisa, it is a good feeling to get a good deal ... but I hate to think about pulling that tank apart because I've got loads of plants growing in there, and they are all doing so well .... I just hope I can get them to look as nice in the new tank and that they will keep growing just as well. But I hate disturbing the roots, so delicate. However, it's something I must do.

I finally moved all the remaining fish back to the 120 gallon tank. They all seem to be doing well

Something like that.

. Even without problems at the time, bp seriously changes your perceptions. It truely is a brain issue. With mania, the filter is off so ppl do and say things they normally wouldn't.

People who claim mental illness when they aren't should be given a dose of the reality of that illness. And besides, I can't see how bipolar could cause you to sell drugs. Take them- yeah. Or maybe he got into selling after getting hooked. Even so, that's just drug selling to support addiction....

I had an upper endoscopy at 8 a.m.

I guess they found ulcers or something. My DH isn't sure. I'll find out in 2 weeks when I see the doctor and in the meantime I have to start back taking Nexium. Sheesh.
