As much as I'd like to.. I'm only 18 and my only way of getting there would be family driving me = ending up a family trip out = SO embarrassing I'd rather run away. My grandad like bursts out singing in the middle of shops and flirts with young women xD Plus I don't think you could see the cats :( my parents are real fussy because they have cat flu blah blah & they've been shaved for summer so look all messy etc they're like "close the blinds people will see them!!"
When I get my own place & can drive I'll happily invite you all round and go on trips out haha xD

Earlier in this thread you said you were hungover. If you haven't touched alcohol then what were you hungover on?
lol, i have drank a time or 2 i will admit, but havent gotten anywhere near drunk. since i dont drink it only takes about 2 to 3 shots to make me feel it the next morning, for the most part tho, dont touch it... theres quite a few reasons i choose to stay away from it. already lost 3 friends to drinking and driving and a family member due to drinking himself to death: sean, nick, jordan, and richard :rip:

on a lighter note: she seems to be doing better, talking more positively and seems more optimistic about her future, i think getting the cops called on her was a big wake up call. shes going to be living with me for a while, which will be very hard financially for me, and she may not like it, but shes going to get back on track with me... shes agreed to get a job, go to therapy, and slow down on drinking in hopes that she will eventually quit. and to think, all this mess started because of a boyfriend!!!!! girls, NEVER let a guy influence you like this... for god sake, please! i wouldnt wish her situation on even my worst enemy... anyway, if there are any religious people out there, please pray for her that she may recover one day. shes seriously on the brink of a breakthrough. she wants the help but just doesnt know how to get there... hopefully ill be the support that she needs to get there... keep us in your prayers!

Good for you sweetie! She needs you and you're there for her even though it'll be hard :D

Thankfully I've only ever met one alcoholic and that's my boyfriends ex's mother  The people around me are really excellent. I've got some cousins with major problems but I don't see them much. It hurts so much to know what they're going through and not being able to help/protect them. Absolutely heartbreaking. I couldn't imagine losing them to their problems :crying2: What a waste of life that would be.

Sigh.

Well I bought 2 large Amano shrimp today ... to add to my shrimp tank. And I also took home a poor red crab with no legs at all, only 2 claws! I felt so badly for him and I coerced the employee at the shop to let me have the crab for 1/2 price (well it was nearly only half a crab, so why pay full price?). I am hoping that I can nurse this little guy back to health ... but I am prepared for his demise in the state he's in. :(

I have a (bad) habit of buying puffers, crabs, etc., that have issues and getting them back to better health -- I enjoy the challenge of doing so I think. So it will be interesting to see if this little legless crabbie lives or not. I did not put him in with my other red crab because he will kill even a healthy crab, he thinks he's king of the tank! :)

To be honest, I don't think he's going to make it, but you never know, he has a chance I suppose. I couldn't just let him sit in the LFS and die, I felt really sorry for him because he was trying to sift the sand with his only 2 claws. Must be awful to lose all your limbs like that.

I got dropped off at the book store then took the bus down the road to LfS and got some blood worms and crushed coral. Tried rinsing it but its still cloudy. I will wait for it to settle.

Try to remember that as difficult as bipolar people can be, you can walk away from the horribleness- they can't. It really is a brain issue, not a personality flaw. From being ill to being well is like night and day. Mania is not happiness. It can be more horrid than depression.
