Hey Rocker! Sorry we can´t help with any raising just yet because we´re in Chile, but if the panic´s still on in April 2007 (when we´re home) we´ll definitely help! Also would definitely like to take on a Suvatti from you when we´re back.

It would be cool to figure out a way to have the Puffer Forum sponsor Rocker's breeding project. I, for one, want to promote captive breeding of puffers as much as possible, and hope to do my own breeding eventually. Maybe Pufferpunk can setup a Paypal account for donations when she gets back.

Congratulations Rocker!!!
They're gorgeous, oh what cute little guys!
Congratulations on both giving us such valuable info on captive puffer breeding AND most importantly raising these little guys so successfully.
I don't think you could have asked for a better place to find adoptive parents for them either!

A little update.
I have some good and bad news.
The bad news is that I have lost an entire batch of around 100 fry. The eggs were a little late hatching but most were up and about swimming. They unfortunately all died within two days of hatching.
The good news however is the reason the youngest hatching fry died is because they couldn't compete for food with the batch of 50 or so that hatched the week earlier. These are far stronger and quicker growing than any I have had so far. Its a job to keep these fed so the little ones didn't stand a chance.They have already started taking bloodworm at a week old and its comical to see them attempt and eat a blood worm three times the length of itself.
The female also laid for the 6th time yesterday and I have more eggs.
