Tip gently or put a plate below where you are tipping to avoid cloudiness

Question about the LR....will the figi "purple" that covers some of the rock eventually cover all of it?
Also, about how long should it before I put some hermits in there? I have read conflicting answers online. I miss the library ='(
Then how long before a gsp can go in there? I did put a shrimp in the tank(cooked) I hope that was the right thing to do.

You can add some hermits now. And, test the water, but with in the week should be able to add the GSP.

just a word of caution...
You should adhere those covering stones to each other with some marine putty / epoxy. If they fall you'll loose more than a tank.
Also you can keep them in place with some 1/2" PVC drilled into them to anchor them to each other. Think of bricklaying. You can lay the bricks, but it is best if they have something to bond them together.

Id start with the cheap hermits, zebra and red legged once. Until you get your puffer and see how he/she reacts.

+1 Test the water and watch for ammonia spikes. With transport comes die off, and you did add a gigantic amount of liverock in at one time. I'd give it no less than 2 weeks, to ensure everything is stabilized. That will also give you time to secure all your rock structures.

So I don't know how to multiple quote, so bear with me please. I wanted to grab seven's too and didn't know how. I grabbed some "holdfast" made by instant ocean, but it wants the surface dry in order to secure everything. Is there something else I can get and use wet? I didn't think that it was good for the LR to be "dry".....So Denzil and I wedged in the rocks last night really well. We pushed on some of them for all we were worth and they didn't budge. But I still do worry about them falling, because I don't want to have a breakage or anything. Suggestions?
I will test the water right now. I only have the basic 4 as the others are still on their way here. I'll put them up in a bit. =D

Okie dokie, will do! I am hoping that if he or she is small enough and the cuc is already in there, that she will leave them alone. But, with my luck, that just won't happen. Yoshi, I think, is going to be teeny tiny. Don't know for sure, but that is my guess....our LFS gets some pretty small ones in.
