I'm pi$$ed! I love to swim. Usually 50 x 150' laps, 2x/week. I was reading on the net that i have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks, before I get back into the pool.

you never heard that? with all those tats you have??? well i assume youve prolly swam before... and nothing happened yet... maybe itll be fine.. but better safe than sorry rite

I knew to stay out of the water & sun--that was never a problem before. Just started swimming for real, about 5 months ago.

But you swim in the water...

I was really into Mozart, of all things, at age 13. I had a Walkman and everything. Lol. If I had gotten a Mozart Tattoo at that age all it would remind me of is how I only listened to Mozart back then. Not that he isn't timeless, I guess, but I haven't listened to Mozart on purpose since then.

Well you said you knew about avoiding water but didn't know that you shouldn't swim... But you swim in water...

What I meant is I know I'm not supposed to swim after a tattoo but I wasn't a swimmer then so it wasn't difficult to avoid that. Now I find it frustrating because I'm usually in the pool 3x/week.

I'll give it a go on attempting to post pics... This is a sleeve that I am currently getting done. The idea is a cemetery with an Edgar A. Poe theme to it. Been for two sittings at about 3.5 hours a piece. Hopefully one more 1.5 hour session then I move onto the pirate ship on my ribs.

I wouldn't be so hard on someone.. if they want a tattoo of a band, that is their decision. They can live with the regret of it, they don't need to be mocked about something that is permanent on their body...
