Yes, I am Aquatic Treasures on aqua-bid, Fish Room Plus on MFK, A-C, ect. I know someone sold off one of my Humpback puffers a year ago or so. I do my best to ensure a decent fish, it doesnt always work out that way, but i try :) . BTW, what is the max size on this puffer?
Thanks, Alex

I believe it is 6", the same as with the Green Spotted Puffers, but Hilly would know better than me.

Yup, that would have been me that bought it. Actually he gave it to me, I just had to drive a long way to go get it. He's a love, one of my favorites.

I think they get a BIT bigger than GSP, but not quite as bit as ceylon. My examination of belly color in T. puffers is that it's a metric of puffer mood most of all, so a cheery puffer may stay white bellied until nearly dead, even if not in optimal conditions, and a moody puffer might have dark edges on his belly for nearly no reason at all, even under ideal conditions. So this might be a cheery one. A typical puffer has a dark belly when stressed, and white when happy, but I think it's very individual, like smiling vs frowning in humans, I've known people that smile a lot while in terminal stages of cancer, and who frown all the time for no damn reason, but it's generally safe to assume a smiling person is in a better mood than a frowning one.

This species seem to turn up in shops around the 6" mark, mine has grown a bit over that. Only time will tell what the final size will be.

 That would be a monster!

I suppose it is possible that was just a fish that grew longer than average just as some people are taller, but that's still 1" over the average length of a Ceylon. Any chance you know what conditions the fish has been kept in?
