Okey i se now. thanks. by the way in a hompage i whas loking at the say that the Colomesus asellus will grow to 14cm. guess i have ben loking at the wrong homepage al the time. thanks agen for the ansers

14cm would be a very large SAP, but I suppose with good care they can get that big. I would venture a guess that 8-10cm is more likely the average size they grow to.

They can be very hard to find. If a store tells you they can order a fish, its very likely they can order it, but that order might never be filled. If you can find Modestus, they are a similar sized freshwater puffer, consider them as well.

Yes i have seen it as well, it is a nice fish. i will move ( away from mom and dad :D ) in 2 weeks from now so i will buy a larger akvarium to keep puffer´s in. i would realy like to have 1 bigg agresiv puffer but 180L is to smal??? and i dont whant brackish water. anyone knows a puffer like that?

i have to say realy love puffers! even my girlfrend do, and she hates my other fish ;) ..

Well, that's about 40 US gallons.

If you are okay with a fish that isn't very active, there are several "lurker" species that are freshwater and would fit in that tank (arrowheads, bailieys, etc). They are amazing fish that mainly stay at the bottom, then attack their food.

If you want something that stays moving and interacting with you, freshwater is a bit more limited and species can be hard to find in stores.

i realy like Tetraodon miurus. in sweden the minimum tank is 250L so i dont know. do you have a Tetraodon miurus?? are they easy to have? its a relay cool puffer that i will think about..


(btw how do you spell otherwise? am i spelling it right? and do i spell spell right?) :)
