A bad clam rotting in his tummy could generate the gas bubbles without him having to puff air. Certain foods have done this to me, fortunately I did not need help with the burping, though I did lay on my side for extended periods and eveyrthing was spinning, I suppose he could be trying to correct for that.

he had big air bubbles... i don't think it was the food. i think he inhaled air and couldn't get it out. anyways thank you guys for all your help and suggestions. i am not sure what was wrong with him or what we could have done differently. good luck hilly, you are now lone on your Sabahensis journey.
r.i.p. snaggletooth.

it is an interesting idea though. Maybe Clooney's size pulled him through?

With drugs/poisons, it's all about size, size=toxin dilution.

Nick do you think food poisoning from bad shellfood is a high possiblity?

Remember this guy looked like he had internal parasites, they could have had something to do with it.

I can't say for sure if it was, the only real way to tell would have been an autopsy... the problem continuing after the burping, which should have relieved the problem if it was pure air, makes it at least a possibility it was something else, like parasites as hilly suggested...
