I would be a bit apprehensive. The male looked like he was showing his dominance. I would be worried for the female personally

Actually it's about 26C sometimes 27...
I'm thinking about lower it, but the male is quite calm now.

She's not new

I know how they are together... I think everything is fine at the moment but of cores I will have a close look at them! I'm not going to loose this beautiful and expensive fish.

My male has shown no sign of distress at temps or around 71, sometimes it drops to 68 at night when the light is off and depending on house temp, still seems to be fine.

But if you want a more active salivator the temp. should be over 24C .
So I should turn it down a bit

I was thinking more for aggression, less active could mean less aggressive towards females

The only problem I got now is feeding time...
The 14 tiger barbs eat it's own food and the puffers food!
The male doesn't have that much problem with the tiger barbs but the female doesn't seem to get all the food that she needs...

Any advice?

feeding in seaprate areas is easy or a divider for feeding time could work too

Just one of many reasons to keep puffers in species only tanks I'm afraid

And I absolutely hate them sometimes!
Puffers are the only fish for me
