Snail breeding off to a slow start - any advice?

*runs down to the basement and digs out the little Petcetera 3gal plastic tank w/the melted hood to fix up for snails*

Gonna start on the snail breeding while I cycle my tank for the F-8

I'm gonna be smart lol

My Male Betta (well one of them) is in my snail tank and he has cleaned me out of small tiny snails....the only ones i have are larger (cant get in the mouth i expect)

I need to move him asap so i can continue the breeding
