I believe malaysian trumpet snails are livebearers not egg layers. But hopefully yours didn't leave any grandchildren around for you to find later!

I crushed up 2 snails for Bob (i know i shouldn't give him that much, but his teeth really need grinding down and i'm going away. I'm not sure my missus will want to crush up snails..I don't reqally like it either honestly!!)..And he ate them with relish!
Oh, i really hope those trumpet snails didn't get busy with themselves in there want the tank to be snail free apart from dinner time!

I just hope they didn't bear any lives in there... Then i would be a deathbearer. Which i do not relish!
And to think, when it rains, i usually keep an eye out incase i step on any snails...I hate the crunch and the scene of matter/shell chaos under my feet..And now i'm attempting to harvest them for destruction!

I"m glad I could help, when I'm online if the board is jumping I just refresh every couple minutes and reply back if I have anything to say. If you use no fertilizer or pesticides, garden snails are game for Bob's food, too. Puffers eating snails is part of nature, so yea, we tend not to feel to hard for them. Myself, I let flies I catch in the house go outside, the only bugs I kill outright are those that suck my blood or otherwise want to eat me. But when it comes to my puffers, tossing a worm in to let shakespear cut into shreds with his beak as he gobbles it down is just me making Shakespeare happy.

yes, i too am unwilling to dispose of any animals/insects if i can help it! However, mosquitos will die.
