Cheers - much the same i am afraid....his eye seems to be getting worse and the other eye now has the pupil bit going the same shade of orange as the iris????? I gotta get my boy to the vets!

Good luck with that. You may be able to get the vet to visit you, catching and transpotring a Mbu is gonna be hard work. I suggest a plastic water tank used in central heating, better than a bin bag

I was thinkong something like this but I am sure you can find something suitable to transport him in. How big is he again

He is approx 8 - 8.5 inches. I will prob put him in big bag water in polystyrene box from fishy shop?
Ya reckon that will be ok?

I might be a little too late here, but when i had to move boomer, i took him in a plastic dustbin. Although that said this was for a 4hour journey from suffolk to newcastle, not a trip to the vets....
Let us know how you get on.....
