Puffer for 20 gallon tank

im talking about tranquility! they have dwarfs, the miurus you are talking about, two T. liurus and one T.fluviatilis at the mo apparently! Well Im going up there tomorrow to make a purchase but I may go with the dwarfs, I dont know about getting a fish you can never see.. what is the upside of a congo puffer, are they characterful when you do manage to catch them swimming about?

might see you there then lol. Our dwarf puffers are great fun , I don't think you will be dissapointed with them if that's what you go with

Did you get your fish on saturday??
We thought the Leurus puffer was beautiful, although am not quite convined about his ID.
My son was begging me to get another tank for him but I have enough to look after with 3 tanks already!!

hi again, yeah I went with the DP option, I got four of the little guys, each only 8mm long so they look a little lost in a tank that size, but I know they get bigger. Im already well sold on the tiny tykes, theya re fascinating to watch and full of character.. cool. I have quite a high current in there at the moment which seems to buffet them about quite a lot, do DPs find this fun or should I turn it down a bit? what do you think the so called leirus were then?

My dwarfs seem to enjoy playing in the filter flow, sort of like a rollercoaster ride lol.
We only saw one Leurus puffer so maybe the other had been sold by the time we got there, he was in the tank to the right of the dwarf puffers, a very active and curious fishy
I am not sure what I thought he migth be really, possibly a turgidus or a cochinensis, although he seemed a bit slim to me, maybe he just needs fattening up a bit!
I do hope you enjoy your dwarfs, they are teeny weny compared to mine , but then we have had ours for 2 years now
