Glad to hear that. There has been some discussion as to what specific SG the FW bacteria dies off & SW bacteria starts to develop. I think it was around 1.012.

Well, if the bacteria dies at around 1.012, I should be okay. The store listed keeping him "around" 1.010, and when I checked that water it was 1.006, so I brought the tank up to "just over" 1.004, figuring 1.005, it wasn't up to 1.006 yet. Wish I had a more accurate refractometer, but, hey, you make do with what you can. I will monitor water conditions for at least 2 weeks to make sure, and will also bring him back to FW.
He is doing well, even with all that has happened and the mistakes I may have made. Still active, biting the glass less, eating well....today, ate his fill of bloodworms in the am, and then his fill of glassworms in the pm. Snails are available in the tank, and he even tried some flake!
