Myaj, I suggest you stay away from Yellowstone national park then, as there is a pervasive and strong sulfur smell throughout.

Also, I think it depends on the bottle of prime and its age. I've had smaller bottles that were almost black and smelt very strong near the end of their use, and others that were clear and didn't smell much at all.

According to the seachem faq it's just an oddity of the manufacturing process.

It's stinky but doesn't really bother me, unles it's open. At 1st I thought it went rancid or something.

Prime has tiny bits of dark stuff suspended in it, and if you dont' shake the bottle a bit, they tend to build up near the end.

I've never been to Yellowstone, but its on my list of things to do. I'll keep the smell in mind .

Everyone was laughing at me at last year's ACA.. I walked past the rental room and started gagging.. everyone was like "what's wrong".. "They're using Prime in there, aren't they?" "Yep, how'd you know?" I don't know why it bothers me so much.
