The Maidenhead ones are cheaper but smaller. I got mine from an independent shop before I discovered my local Maidenhead store, so I guess that was why they were more.

Oh well they are fit and healthy so I am not worried.

Absolutely as long as you are happy and the Puffer is healthy that's all that matters

My lfs was selling Topaz puffers for £15 but man they were not in good condition.Fins frayed and jet black bellies. It has to be worth the £10 extra to get good healthy fish like you got jacknife.
