Looks like they responded to our feedback and removed the page, as the rest of their fish care pages are still up:

Maybe we should inform them of other bad advice on their site.
(like the maximum size of a giant gourami listed as 4.5" and ID shark 12"...)

GRRR... I always get steamed about ID sharks; I'm upset that they're in the trade to begin with. I tell you, being a puffer freak this means a lot: ID sharks are my favorite fish. I had a 7 year old one given to me by my well-meaning mother. He was only a foot long and obviously severely stunted, but he was like a puppy in a fish tank. To this day I regret being unable to buy the 1,000 gallon tank he needed.
Ok, done with my rant! Great job sending him an e-mail; it's sites like those that mess up the well-meaning beginners that don't think to check their sources.

Oh that is terrible! That's why I never really just trust one website's info. Always look through a couple and you will most likely (especially when it comes to aquaria) find conflicting info. That's what's good about forums, you have loads of opinions and help from fellow puffer owners who want nothing more then to keep their puffer happy and healthy and help others if they can!
On a good note, i went to a pet store I recently discovered in the city, not only do they have tons of puffers (rare for Australia), but the guy actually gave us the correct advice! My bf was hassling me to get the puffers today, I said "no we can't" as per usual, then the LFS guy backed me up and said its not a good idea to put them in while its cycling, he said he wouldn't stop us from buying them (which I didn't of course!) but he wouldn't recommend to put them in. It was so nice to hear that they do care about their fish!
That fish shop also had these eel type fishes that were $1500 AUD!! Starts with "O" or something....they weren't that special to me, looked very alien lol.
