I know they have a website but I can't find it right now.

Wow, a year? How many are you planning on getting? Are you going to get a pair? If you do keep me informed!

Cool, I'll have to check them out, thanks!

Would like a pair if they ever have any. :)

One of these days I want to get over to The Fish Factory, I was told they have a ton of cichlids but I've never made it there.

I'm going to try tomorrow. Looks like its pretty close to AU. Whee, another place to take pics of fish! I hope they let me anyway.

Yup, that's what we're doing. :) I have that lovely $100 gift certificate for AU that's burning a hole in my pocket. So we'll try to do both tomorrow. Have to, as I'll be having surgery on the 3rd so I'll be out of commission for a few weeks.

can I get some South American Puffers and some dwarf puffers? If so how many of each?

Thanks
Mike

Both? I personally wouldn't do both. SAPs are pretty peaceful but DPs can be quite viscious. I wouldn't trust my DPs in the same tank with my SAPs. I'd do 2 SAPs or 6-7 DPs, but not both.

I have mixed them, but only in very, very complex, heavily planted tanks where the dwarf puffers spent most of their time hunting for snails and shrimp and not harassing the other fish.

Is there anything I can put in the tank with some DP's? And I'm planning on making it a really well planted tank.

you can try oto's but even then there is no guarentee(i thoiught everything was peachy keen till last night where i found an oto mangled to death).

Otos are probably the best option. You could try shrimp as well but they may become food.

Otos and kuhli loaches have been done with some success by DP keepers. Not much else really.

BTW, I went to the Fish Factory. At first I was excited, as they have a tank with a bunch of juveline arrowhead puffers. My excitement turned to horror shortly thereafter, as I found tanks with tattooed fish in them. :( Therefore, I remain arrowhead-less as I won't give a single penny to places that sell mutilated fish. I'll post some pictures shortly.
