Oh, my apologies... I thought you were talking about C. Travancoricus. Come to think of it, which species are you dealing with, Steven? (I just assumed that your /-------\ diagram was showing up differently on my screen than it was on yours.) Looks like an oversight on my part; sorry.

Its ok :)
Mine is the Sea Frog Puffer. I am not sure on the latin name, but I think that pufferpack is correct.
My question is actually not about spawning because I have experienced this before my old pair laid there eggs in a hole in the gravel. Any way my question is ..... "Is this courtship"
I have never had a pair while going through this stage, as my old pair were allready breeders when I bought them but these were just male and female. Is this the first every sign / stage of courtship/breeding.
I am aware that like cichlids the "date" for a long time before the pair off, and then breed and then before they breed again there is more little courting, Is this the first big courtship?

Does any one have pics of the tank set-ups or what it should be like for them to spawn.

Also at the moment in the tank there are enough places for them to spawn.

There is gravel,
Rocks,
java moss,
caves,
plantpots,
Amazon swords

Yup, sounds like the begining of the courtship ritual to me.
