The seachem FAQ for flourish excel warns against using it with anacharis because it can be a very sensitive plant.

tahnsk guy i haven't had the chance to buy anything to add in my fish tank yet SOOO lol mabye that's why they're not thriving, but umm ya i was more worreid about my puffers than the plants but now i'm going to look forward into the plants since the puffers are settled down

The cooler water I mentioned is 75 and below. Mine does pretty well at 79-80 though. Any higher and it tends to die. Mine grows like mad, that's why I have it in all of my planted tanks. Gotta put it somewhere.

I found out that too late. They actually recommend using half doses for sensitive plants like anacharis.

hmm thanks guys, well part of the reason why i like it so much cause it really just does a good job diving the sights, and it's nice and flufffy and they can burry themselves in it instead of just a singel leaf plant it doesnt' really do much
