Bio-Spira works, and quickly. Fishless cycling works, but takes longer before the fish can go into the new tank.

I made the Stress Zyme mistake when I started. The bacteria in it are dead, and they are - ahem - supposed to help feed the bacteria that you DO want.
All it does is, like RTR says, foul up your water and skew your test results. If I had my way, I'd have it taken off the shelves. I was furious at the time.
Your best bet is Bio-Spira...I wish we could get it here.
