Question about Dragon Gobies!

No not yet. The LFS is out so I'm going to wait until they order more & in the mean time get my tank ready for him. I will keep everyone up to date I promise

Just a note the dragon gobies you most likely are seeing are social and do best in groups of six. I had them for a while. Wonderful fish if you can get the space to house them when full grown.

I had a big dragon with my 3 fig8's....I would feed them their regular bloodworms/shrimp and then the dragon got a big chunk of frozen mussle meat.

He went WILD for that and got PLENTLY to eat. None of the other fish were interested in it except maybe the knight goby. Plus the chunk is so big that he just sucks it into his mouth and gets tons to eat like that.

In fact he got so big and fat that I had to sell him when I lost a puffer and moved from teh 55 to the 20. He was FAT FAT FAT...and that's how you do it!

Never a problem with the puffers btw, he was way too huge.

Isn't that too much bioload for a 20? That seems awfully crowded to me.

I just bought a dragon fish a few weeks ago and have had no problem with him and my GSP

. I would recommend that you buy some sinking food and drop it near were he's hiding in the tank . That's what I have been doing and he has no problem finding the food.

29 gallon
1 GSP
1 Dragon fish
2 dojo's
1 pictus catfish

These fish are incompatible, and will stunt in a tank of that size. Have you any plans for upgrading and separating?

Yes I have, I am currently waiting on my 55 gallon to come in my next shipment to my school, My puffer will be in his own tank
