Absolutely not. In addition--that GSP will be going into high-end BW or even SW as an adult. I had success keeping mine with a tomato clown fish. They'd be OK in a SG of 1.018 or higher.

I know, I just neglected to look up the salinities of the fish I listed, thought some were higher end brackish, my mistake.
May try to add another GSP of the same size once this one has recovered. Thankfully the LFS keeps quite a few in good conditions and they'd be able to point out the least aggressive ones, but I'm still unsure...

Really, your GSP would be happier in the 55g alone. Imagine 2 Nerf football-sized fish swimming in a 55g??? I;d wait until you upgrade to the larger tank before adding more fish.

Well I suggest it because he's 4 inches away from full-grown and once full grown is going in a 75g marine tank (as would the other one). It just seems very sparse in the tank with just him.

And I do understand that the concern sounds much more like my selfish needs than his, which in part is true, but it would also mean another GSP taken from a smaller fish store tank and into my 55.

Do you already have this 75g tank? Because I can't tell you how many folks I have known on these forums who plan to upgrade, then life happens & the poor fish suffer.

I have an empty 75 sitting in storage, I don't have room to set it up currently. Nor do I have any of the saltwater equipment, but the tank I do have.

But you have nowhere to set it up?

In my current apartment, no. When I move out in 1 and a half years I will.

I'd wait then--life sometimes happens...
