ALL internal parasites in FW fish MUST be treated internally. FW fish do NOT drink water.
Addition to PP'S statement above. The polar opposite. . . salt water fish do intake water through their skin to regulate their osmotic pressure. Even in this scenario the most direct method is dosing the food. Internal parasites
reside mainly in the intestinal tract. Quickest way to this is food.
