Everything went wrong - very disappointing - very stressful for the little fish & yourself
I hope you'll try again, especially now that you have had a "crash course" on puffer keeping and will have much better success with this knowledge under your belt
It ain't easy, but it's rewarding

+1. Unfortunately this sometimes needs to happen to learn hard lessons. Lord knows I've learned enough of them in my few fish keeping years. After my CO2 gas-out incident , I learned to research, let it sink in, then research some more before buying ANYTHING for this hobby.
