At long last, my porcupine puffer has begun to eat something other than peas! Two weeks ago, I bought a live littleneck clam, smashed it with a hammer, and pulled out the clam using tweezers. He ate the whole clam! I also fed him shell-on shrimp yesterday. So now his diet is getting more diversified. He still loves peas and spits water out at the pea. I also stock the tank with snails, but I can't really tell if he's eating them or not.

casc - that depends on the fish and how well nourished the current monotonous diet keeps him - which is unpredictable.

He/she is doing fine! She just released all these eggs! Not sure what to do! ARGH!!
