He's hilarious, and seems to have settled in ok. I tried to take a photo of him dozing on his moss mattress; but the aquarium lights are switched off, and it's a bit grainy.

Well, he appears to have systematically murdered all the ghost shrimp.

All water tests came back as zero, with PH still being 7.6. The temp is around 72 degrees, so I don't think they've been cooked.

Spud looks very happy. The shrimp look, well, very dead tbh.

Have fished all the murder victims out. Spud followed my hand round the tank. He looks furious. I have stolen all his snacks.

The next batch of shrimp will be safely housed with the Barbs.

Have adjusted his temperature, he's a lot more lively now.

On reflection, I think the shrimp may have cooked themselves on the heater. They were somewhat pinkish in colour.

He has a yellow stomach. I've searched and searched and can't find anything about a Baileyi having a yellow stomach. He's pretty active, and is blimping round the tank, exploring. I am guessing he's just enjoying the different colour scheme. I'm obsessively testing the water, and all is perfect.

He's still using the moss balls as his mattress, the weirdo.
