Sorry, didn't realize that.

I do not want to ever move again - even as nasty as this winter has been so far. And no more big fish for me... All my moves with numbers of tanks have been effectively local, with overlaps.

Video of the new guy, the audio doesn't really pertain to the forums, though.

I didn't move too far. They were all out of their tanks for maybe 5 hours. Juke in a 30 gallon tote. My girlfriend drove her fish from Florida to Vermont 2 years ago.

I moved a 65 gallon reef tank from Wisconsin to California in 1990. No fish. Live rock with polyps, etc. packed in plastic bags with a little water, wet-dry filter media such as bio-balls the same. Corals, clams and other sessiles packed as normal for shipping. All living things and rock in insulated boxes. Shipped tank, stand, filters, rocks, and all to myself overnight, then jumpped on a jet and beat the mail to the California.

One it arrived I filled tank with water, mixed in salt, set up filter, ran it for an hour or so, and then added rock and everything else back. No casualties, but a few scuffed hard corals. Tank ran for years after that.

Very expensive shipping (>$1000). Your big Fahaka will make your move a bit different, especially if you are driving rather than flying.
