That's good. Could you please answer my other questions?

He has eaten krill, jumbo mysis, blood worms. He gets a snail sometimes for a treat. I think that is the only question that I missed?

Right now krill and jumbo mysis. I am going in there with tweezer to try and hand feed him. He sucked on it a little. He smells the food and hears the scat feeding which is stimulating him to wiggle around and make sucking noises like he is eating.

Well I had this gut feeling early this morning that he'd be gone and he finally passed naturally. I'm going to miss him so much! From happy gotcha day ! 7/8/05 - 9/14/13 to his death. Even the scat looks upset!

I'm so sorry for your loss.:( I wonder if any chemicals were used near the tank? How's the scat?

No chemicals the scat is fine, but I know the scat was acting weird hovering over the puffer as if he was protecting him. He normally doesn't swim that low. I measured the puffer he was 3.5 inches in length. I think he was 2.5 inches 8 years ago. Maybe old age?

Possible old age... Why so stunted? Should be the size of a 6" Nerf football by now.

Not a clue. He got fed every other day with a variety. He was kept in a 29 gallon half his life then I upgraded to a 40 gallon about three years ago. I am considering having him done by a taxidermist because he is very sentimental to us. I miss him so much can't believe it, the scat looks so lonely.
