I think his teeth look so big because the rest of him is small.

once he bulks up they won't look so big!
I really hope this one makes it! Please have a catheter ready, in case it is necessary.

The stress signs will disappear quite quickly, once he feels safe and nourished.

I am worried he is only used to live food which is a concern. I will need to find a way to get him changed over to frozen.
I read about the garlic extract does that really work?

Oh yes, it can really get the appetites of stubborn fish going. I use fresh crushed or grated garlic added to the defrosting bowl.

Mine was like that and I wouldn't try till he's a lil healthier, but I stated feeding live crayfish then skipped a day or two of feeding then went to frozen without a problem, same thing with muscles I waited a cpl days then dropped one in with the shell crushed and he ate it also live earthworms are a big treat for my guy he loves em still live and at first he was scared but now they don't even hit the bottom before he eats em

So I dont need to get the garlic extract stuff they are talking about? I can used regular garlic from the store?

At our dollar tree they sell a glass jar of minced garlic in juice (water that has soak up garlic juice). I use it to make a wonderful crock pot chicken and to soak blood worms with ip meds in. Don't tell my family

Yeah gotta buy a new one tonight.. Went to pull the old mangrove root out of my other tank but Dexter looked like he got depressed when I took it out.
LOL he has had that thing since he was 2" big so he is kinda attached lol ..

Well have great news... He just downed his first bit of frozen clam meat.. Defrosted it with a touch of garlic in the water and he snatched it right up.
Looks like the garlic works like a champ..
