This is a revision to the total knee replacement I had 5 years ago. I'm home now, only hospitalized overnight.

I hear ya....i was 16 when I had my knee surgery. The doctor told me to take my pain meds when it hurt...the problem was it hurt all the time. I know its not your first knee rodeo, but whatch out. An opiate dependancy is hell compared to what you feel now. Speedy recovery onward!

Wow, alot has been going on since i was last on. I got a new general manager at my dealership so i have been having looon days with his new changes. Lot more money though. Lol

Glad to see you are doing good after surgery. I have had 5 on my right knee since my army days. 4 arthroscopies, and 1 acl reconstruction, removed 2/3's meniscus on both sides of my right knee, had two bucket tears, removal of bone spurs, and also had every ligament except my pcl repaired. I was in that machine that bent and unbent my knee for two weeks then 8 months of physical therapy. I got lorotabs(double dosed vicadins) for pain management. I know your pain and what kind of recovery it takes to make you mobile again. Good luck.

I willbe getting a knee replacement sometime in the future too. I have degenerative joint disease, plageria(softening under the knee cap) and no cartilage in my right knee. I can still run for a bit and the constant pain has gone away for the last 4 years but i still get pain from time to time. I am not looking forward to this surgery later on..

Yesterday, the pain was a 7-9 all day & they made me do PT with that. :(

I got a nerve-blocking med added to the pain meds & this morning I woke up at a 2-3! :)

I hope it passes soon. Personally, I do not handle real pain well at all. I turn into super grump and am unfit company for other humans. Hound dogs are better company when I am in that node.

Yeah, Hubby keeps insisting I say please, with all my requests for help. HUH??? That just pisses me off more! :grump:
