Sorry to hear that he didn't make it. Don't give up though. These guys go through some pretty rough treatment from collection, transport and adapting to their temporary home in the LFS. Some of them have parasites or diseases and just can't handle the stress no matter how well we take care of them when we bring them home.

Yeah i know, it still sucks though. Puffers are so endearing to watch that it kinda hurts a bit to loose one. I have a few other species to observe and care for so it distracts me from the empty tank sitting in the kitchen.
Thankfully somethign always distracts me...atm i gotta feed my water goats (apple snails, little buggers eat like goats though).
