Crap. What should I do? Do you think I should just do a tank with GSP's only, getting one more? I hate to just have one fish in this tank. I really like the idea of a nice marine tank, but I hate to place my little guy now, as I feel responsible for him.

Aw sorry... It's sad, but you have to remember that puffers are predators, and with any predator, there's always a chance something else may become a meal. Personally, I'd separate/take back the damsels, and scour the internet/puffer forum for GSP friendly tank mate suggestions/proven circumstances. I've heard people that have had success with tomato clowns.. but can't think of anything else that comes to mind atm.

I didnt look at the gallons...just sayin to look at all the options..marine has plenty

I think a 75 is perfect for 2 gsps...I have 2 adults in a 75 and the space seems just right. Remember they do get bigger! With just the two it is plenty of action in the tank. I promise

Then since you have marine you can focus on corals, from what I hear that is also an addiction! I don't know what kind of corals you should choose, but I am sure some here would know.

My tank is closer to 75 gallons. I'm thinking I need to find another fish larger than my puffer. Is a tomato clown a better fit? My 2 remaing damsels are not afraid of the GSP at all. It will be interesting to see what happens from here. I'm wondering if the other was sick/weak in some way,and that caused him to get singled out.

Oh, yeah I'm getting pretty "addicted" to corals. New update. Today I saw one of the damsels completely harrassing the other yellow tail. His poor fins were all torn, but the GSP had nothing to do with it. "Good GSP!" I asked the LFS to please take him, as I had no where for him, and he would be dead if this continued. So, he's gone, and I'm sticking with the GSP and the one tough damsel for now.

If you want variety I would try to look for a Ceylon Puffer. Their care and requirements are roughly the same as the GSP. I have become fond of their color patterns and often thought of looking for one whenever I upgrade to a 125g tank.

You're right, but I had heard the damsels are really aggressive as they age, and I decided against more of them. I should have probably started with 5. Of the 3 I think my first one was sick or perhaps was already getting picked on??
