im going to keep the sg at 1.010.im not going full marine.ive read this will be fine long term.ok i wont stop till i get to 1.010.today hes looking much better than before.so as i add more salt if he improves in colour ill know whats wrong.ill update next week.

well i must have tested wrong as just tested the ph again and its 8.so thats not causing it either.all i can think it is, is the sg which im upping so ill keep an eye on him.il post back next friday when i up the salt.

heres a video (sorry videos not the best) and some pics of my setup.please take a look at the larger puffer.hes the one who keeps going grey.his colour is much better than it was tho.how does he look to you???
yeah theres not alot of decor in there yet but im adding some more next week.theres no aggression so all fine till then.im running an eheim 2224 external but when i upgrade im going to run 2 of them.there tails are a little nipped but im adding melafix atm to sort it.they were like this from the shop.they are the best fish i have ever kept.next may im getting a 260 litre tank for them.cant wait there love it.i have to wait till then as im moving house and i dont have the room here.

my other 2 are called poppy and petey.peteys the big one

Seemed like there is some damage to the caudal fin, but I can't quite tell for sure, on one of the smaller ones it seemed more pronounced, unless it was already like this there is some nipping going on perhaps. In the video he looks quite happy to me anyway.

would a 350 litre = 76 uk gallon = 92 usa gallons tank be ok to house 3 adult puffers???
i was going to get a 260 litre = 57 uk gallon = 68 usa gallons next may but im thinking of getting a 350 litre???

fantastic. its a corner tank and its measurements are 123 x 87 x 65 cm.

update
well ive upped the salt to 1.004 today but ive noticed some very tiny white dots on the bigger gsp back?? not sure if its ich.what should i do?? he seems fine eating/swimming normal etc and the other 2 are fine

If these dots are spaced about equally it could be the spikes of the GSP, I don't suppose you could post a picture?BETTYBOO wrote:update
