i just wish i would have gotten pima fix earlier, i got dislexia about the pima and mela, i kept thinking i had one or the other. i hate reading the backs of the meds though, becuz they show the little pictures of what they fix, and they all seem to fix the same thing, which is never what my fish have...

Why does it say i'm not logged into this topic when i try to edit my post?

well, this morning, (about 12hours the meds have been in) and he is almost life less, still breathing, and ev ery once in a while he trys to move, and moves his body into some seemingly uncomfortable position.

i have seen for the first time now, that around his poop chute, is a really bright white ring, and his body has become so swollen you can actually see that the anus goes in about a mm.

i'm pretty sure i'm going to loose my puffer that has made it a year in my posesion. I don't know how i've been lucky enough to make it that long, as for about 9 months of that he was ina community FW tank and the last 3 i've probably made it quite stressful on him trying to learn how to keep puffers properly and keep the SG.

It's unfortunate but many of us learn the right way to keep a fish only after losing one due to less than proper care. Some people simply buy another (and another, and another...), continuing to make the same mistakes rather than researching what they did wrong. You are at least trying to learn from past mistakes and are doing what you can to save the little guy. Sometimes there is no hope though and euthanasia is the only option.

yah, i'm about to put him under and send him off to puffy heaven...
