i was curious about them being together after jp said that. i thought the betta would get his fins all nipped up.

No fin nipping but he is none to happy about the current; he can't make his bubble nests. Usually he hangs out in the area with the least about of current and chills until feeding time.

do you have any pics of them and the tank?

I'll see if I can get some pics up, but it is a 30 gal with lots of driftwood.

here are some pics.. not the best because of my phone, but in them you will see most are hidden.

In that first pic you can see the DP, 2 cherry shrimp and a bristle nose pleco (using the toilet)

#2 is a shot of a fan shrimp, one of 2 in the tank.

#3 is almost an FTS and it looks as though there is nothing there but on closer inspection there is a lot going on. Please disregard the ghost off the glass

and Mr. Betta hanging out by the heater.

love the tank! lol your betta looks a little chubby like mine!
