Library probably won't be revived, until we move to a different board but Dad is slowly getting the articles loaded onto a new forum he opened here.
Beware... he WILL bite you!

He has settled a fair bit. Still seems a little stressed and wall walking a bit but much better. I have yet to see him bury himself. Hopefully we are over the hump. Did a large water change and tested the water. Starting to look good.
How do you avoid bites?

Is the bowl of sand working? Stay away form the teeth.

Also LOL @ PP!
And +1 to seven's comments. Teaching puffers to associates hands and fingers with food is the first step toward a Darwin Award.

I added 15 lbs of sand to the end of the tank that he mostly hangs out at. He's eating well but still glass dancing. He has not buried himself once yet.
My concern is getting bit during tank maintenance. I'm not interested in hand feeding him after watching him eat. Gonna bust out the camera and pis some pics this weekend.

The idea is to not associate hands with food, and then we hope they won't bite us during maintenance. That is not always the case, sometimes they are just biters.
