Beautiful tanks everyone!

Here is my dragon's lair. Mortimer the bichir lives here with a few roommates: Barbara Streissand the bn pleco, Mr. Roger the atabapo pleco, 2 American-flag fish - America F*** Yeah, and Allegiance, 2 siamese algae eaters - Brook Shields and Bruce Wayne.

Here's my F8 tank, home to Hula and Luau. Aragonite substrate, SG 1.004, and tikis galore.

Cute Pufftastic! I grew up in Hawaii, so that tank and the names are super cute to me!

seven, are plants difficult to maintain? that is one intense dragon lair.

i am so inspired, i may just have to start setting aside chunks of paychecks to redecorate my tanks..

Difficult to maintain? Not so much exactly once it's established. But it's a lot of supplements, and there a decent amount of stuff to learn. Initially it can be very frustrating. The forums aimed at planted tanks are really pretentious, contradictory, and generally more confusing than helpful. It's like a bunch of snooty plant snobs bragging about how awesome they are to each other, and getting into arguments over the lighting, supplements, so on, all with charts, graphs, data ect., sometimes falsified or exaggerated so they can appear to know what they are talking about, which they get called out on. It's slightly ridiculous.
