What do you mean 2 is too few?
But if they are surviving in his BW tank then why would it matter?
I have a FW tank so I mean they are fine for me!

I guess. IMO when we take control over an animal's life we need to do what is in our power to give it the best life possible. Not doing so is inappropriate and callous. If you can't properly take care of an animal then don't own it at all.

2 is too few because they are schooling fish, they need to be in groups.

This type of behavior would be because they are in an inappropriate, likely to result in fatality, environment, and it seems as though the are trying to escape it in vain. These fish are intolerant of salt, and in the wild live in very large shoals.

Science is not opinion, because it can be backed by fact.

I've said this before, any callous attitudes toward fish here are not going to be taken lightly.

"Seems to be doing fine" doesn't effectively counter scientific proof and experience. Please rehome your cory so he can be in freshwater and in a shoal. He has no business in a brackish puffer tank.

Your tank is stunning but not really visually complicated, with nooks & crannies to investigate. I agree with everyone about the cory.

and these types of posts are probably why a majority of people shouldnt know that some fish can be acclimated from FW - BW or even SW. you can have a fish survive in terrible conditions but its not thriving and it wont live to its fullest potential. sure it might seem ok since they are alive even though they are behaving abnormally, but you see the outside, the ill effects of poor/inappropriate water conditions are going to start from the inside. and thats mostly where you get the "i dont know what happened to my fish... it was fine yesterday or two days ago and its belly up today..." most likely poor water conditions finally did the fish in. which will happen sooner than later with cories or any other FW fish that isnt meant to handle salt

I want to hear about this after keeping the fish successfully for 10 years in this manner, not a few months... The point of this forum is to give experience, knowledge & advice abotut keeping out wet pets happy, healthy & aslong-lived as possible.
