Yep Percy is from Wildwoods he is the larger £25 one not the smaller one - Im glad yours is still healthy and happy, I was told he's stay at the same size as he is now! good job I have the 4 foot tank! I did think they guy was giving good advice! but nevermind - I dont mind as long as my fish is happy.

romandy wrote:Hi,

I saw your post in my thread about getting your puffer from wildwoods.

The guy gave me some useful advice but not all of it was correct.

Did you get one of the smaller £15 ones or the larger £25? even the large ones will get a bit bigger.

I would put in that 4ft tank definitely, they'll be a home for life. and make sure you have a snail breeding tank setup, you will need it.

My puffer is doing really well so far, very lively I thought he'd hide all day long but he's always out.
I have been to wildwoods before found them v.expensive

soooo. Is the 4ft running yet? this guy wants to stretch his fins lol. Out of curiosity why buy a biorb when such a tank is available?
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

That's the spirit! Now you sound like a multi-tank addict!
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."
