As a teenager I started with Hardrock and Heavy Metal such as Metallica, Slayer, Maiden, Priest, Blind Guardian, Manowar, ACDC some Punk rock bands and such...

A decade later this changed to the dark side... Goth Rock, Industrial, but also a lot of Medieval Music, Neofolk...

Another decade later I've arrived at Hardstyle techno, Hard House...

Let's see where the journey goes... "Not everybody listens to Mister Williams" (from Showtek - F-track).

Honestly, I think Megadeth is a much better Thrash band than Slayer, or Metallica. Cliff Burton era Metallica is pretty awesome though.

I didn't like Mustaine very much, only very few songs, so I never had more than two Megadeth albums (audio cassettes that is or was). And after St. Anger I did not like Metallica anymore, well, just the older stuff. I did not get much Hard'n Heavy after 2000 at all.

There's still good new rock though. Megadeth's last album "Endgame" rules(then again your not a fan of Dave Mustaine, so that doesn't help much). Ozzy's latest album "Scream" was cool. Alice Cooper's "Along Came a Spider" was awesome. W.A.S.P.'s "Babylon" was good. Lynyrd Skynyrd's "God & Guns" was amazing, and those are just what I thought of, I'm sure there's more, but point is there's still good rock.

For me Metallica stop being good when they released "Metallica"(otherwise know as the black album). "Kill Em' All" was my favorite as it was much heavier than any of there other releases(Mostly because Dave wrote large portions of it).
