They have pretty good rocks too! Looks to be the same as marco , and they are in fl so you get it the very next day if you live in fl ! BUt Marco does do alot more styles than reef cleaners !

I usually just use natural rock.
I buy it in bulk at my local home improvement store.
Lowe's, Home Depot, etc etc. Even most walmarts carry it.
I'm not sure what chains you have over the pond.
It's commonly used for walkways and gardens.
Never had a problem with it.

Sorry, there are 2 threads going on about rocks. 1 in FW & 1 in SW. I get easily confused...

Lol my last thread was supposed to say rtr not err lol. So porous rock will allow f/w bacteria to colonise much like l/r? But obviously less effective?

Just as effective, IMO. RTR would know better than I though.

Limestone is not the best choice. Unless you like a thick layer of crust on your tank.

Look for rocks that have no smell or no taste (after you wash it down) Those are inert.

EDIT: rocks that chip instead of grind into powder are better, too.

If it will produce similar effects it's worth the £££s IMO then?
