Hey just had the exact same thing happen to Lilly , shes spinning round in circles like a dog chasing its tail , trying to get the dead claw off ! , Fairplay that crab had a go back ! , think it just enraged her though as he was quickly ripped and crunched to pieces ....Shes bitten off most the arm , but the actual pincer is still stuck to her face , do you think i should let nature do its thing and let it come off by her knocking it off etc or should i intervene and try getting it off ???

update , the pincers come off by its self !! so thats good just working out how to upload pics , hopefully won't be long lol

He was about 4. I got him at around a year (5"s), give or take a few months. Great fish!! Miss em tons!!

I never had this problem when feeding my arrowhead, it attacks it so quick it's in bits after one bite , or if he is been lazy the crab will walk near and he will pounce out the sand and again it ends up in bits very quick.
