are red worms easier to keep alive than blackworms? is there a way to breed them?

They're just earthworms. You can breed them in dirt trays, there are diy worm breeding videos on youtube.

Good thinking. Are there pictures of peoples gsp tank setups on here? I'm a visual learner if I can see some good setups I'm pretty positive I can replicate it. But right now I'm just improvising in the dark.

Ok, got me some flat rocks, washed em, and put em in there. I dunno I'm not really that great at aquascaping with rocks I guess. It looks like someone said "ok see how much crap you can fit in this fish tank in 60 seconds... lol.

And my big puffer is STILL swimming at the glass. *shoots self in the face*

Leave the scape as is, in time he should settle down. The stress of all the all the stuff moving around will cause temporary pacing. Leave the tank be for a while to give them time to feel secure again.

Well I certainly hope he quits this. What you said makes sense about the stress from everying being moved around. The other one is just hiding under a rock. I put an earthworm in there for them but they just swam away like it scared them. I fished it out and I'm gonna try to give it to them again later.

UPDATE: My large puffer still paces some, but when I come up to the tank he swims around normally, and greets me at the glass. So maybe it's just an annoying habit that will eventually go away. My smaller puffer hides a lot, but is now eating regularly! I think the size of the other puffer intimidates it, hence the hiding. because the small one has no nipped fins at all or marks on its body, and I never see the large one act aggressive towards it.

My large puffer is still pacing. Should I just ignore it? maybe it's just a habit for him? Water is perfect, have the salinity up to 1.010 now... he eats fine, doesn't pace while eating or afterwards... small puffer is fine.... such a mystery....

How large is he?
