1/4" glass is an improvement over the 3/16 you'd typically find over an aquarium. Rain - how much did they charge you for it and did they sand/grind/finish the edges/corners ?

I'd still want a plastic strip at back end though.

The glued shell is a nice touch!

If memory serves me right, it was about $25 Canadian. They sanded and rounded the edges so there is no chance of cutting myself or my fish. I do not have any jumpers so I feel confident with the small uncovered strip at the back of the tank.
