Yeah, so it looks like you got way more than me. I don't need this crap, my mom was mega digging into me last night about wasting so much money. And I ordered a $100 cpr bakpak skimmer off ebay that didn't work.
(the guy refunded me $10 because I'm going to try to get a maxijet1200, it came with a rio, powerhead and get it working)

THat looks very nice though - I can completely sympathize with the mom yelling about wasting money. But truth be told, that looks very nice. I've only got about 30lbs in my puffers 35gal tank, which provides enough room to hide, but gives her plenty of room to swim around in.
What kind of substrate is that?
And what didnt work with the CPR? Generally those are pretty decent for smaller tanks, and shouldnt take too much to get working. By the way - good call on the upgrde to a MaxiJet 1200.

It's crushed coral.
I don't know anything about protein skimmers, but I looked at the instructions, and couldn't get it working... I mean it WORKED in that it ran but it wasn't producing froth, just large bubbles... I went to aquariacentral and went in the chat asking for help and someone talked to me over AIM and we concluded that it was the fault of the skimmer. It may have been my fault, I don't know, but I have a maxijet coming and I'll take it up to the LFS I scrub algae at and have them assemble it.
The rio is now in the left hand corner of the tank for circulation....

Revised it and made it a bit more spacious for him to swim around inside it.
And I had some fun with a powerhead makin' bubbles, but I don't know, it will probably break or something.

Hey Liz,
looking good there. The rock pile looks interesting, he should have a good time exploring

. Best of luck with the rest of your purchases. I know how much buying broken stuff on ebay SUCKS.
