525gph on a 75 isnt going to be to bad. At least in my head its not, since we in puffers shoot for 10x turn over.

It depends on the style/width of output. I was making a bad joke based on size of the canister though.

I had to make a spray bar for my 75 because the current was ridiculous and uprooting the pennywort.

Can't believe they were so cheap not to include enough media for that! I'd add filter floss in there, to "polish" the water. I get big bags of the stuff from a sewing supply store.

it looks good, havent gotten it into place and turned on yet. But yes if you order one get more media.

I have two 2217 Eheim canister filters for an 80 gallon tank, and no regrets. 500 liters per hour each (the tank turns over 3+ times per hour). They're quiet and scrub the water clean.
