Lots more LR, like 1.5-2lbs/gal.

Today I switched out the Damsel for a baby (4-6 months old) Ocellatus Clown. Also Picked up 3 Hermit Crabs for a cleanup crew, plus lots of empty shells and fragments to throw off the puffer once he's added. Will post pics tomorrow.

Question about hermit crabs... do they have to come out of their shells to poop? Seriously folks I know its a funny question but I want to know if their vulnerable at any point in the day on a regular basis.

Nope, they only come out to shed their body & to move into larger shells.

I'm not trying to be a jacka$s, or a fish nazi, but if the advise given was a minimum tank size for a small toby alone, why did you get a clown fish? Are you planning on upgrading the tank?
Balki is in a 29 gallon with his stupid molly buddy, Balki is about 2.5", his molly about 1.75", and even though they are small and I have live rock, they raise the nitrates to 5 ppm in a week, so I have to do more frequent water changes than normal.
They are moving into a 55 gallon that I'm setting up, just need sand. I wouldn't consider keeping them in the 29 gallon because Balki even in his small size gets bored easily, and I have to change the rock work around weekly. So it's not just water volume, but space too.

Im getting a 55, sevenyear. Just don't know what the timeframe is... Thats why I bought a baby clown and am going to get the youngest puffer I can. I understand your concerns about space, but for a little while it won't be a problem. Also the added water from the refugium and dilligent water changes will keep hormone levels down, I don't wanna stunt anybody. I will also change the decor weekly.

Looks like ill be upgading soon. A friend is giving me a 45g. Its a tall, not ideal, but its free and ill be addind significant volume.
