I personally like Seachem Metronidazole cause it comes with a little pre-measured spoon that you can use to get more accurate dosages I just used it on my puffer and it seemed to have worked well. You just use a small cup and take out a bit of tank water put in the correct dosage with the spoon and let the food soak. (the longer the better)

Soak both the puffer's food in the meds. Lots of folks (including myself), like the Jungle Parasite Clear fizz tabs.

Just because he may not be skinny doesn't mean he doesn't have IP's, give Button medicine too.

I couldn't find jungle parasite tabs in any of the petstores i went to. I got the only one i could find for internal parasites, it has metronidazole and a few other active ingredients. The packet says to put 1 tab into 10g of freshwater but i want to treat the food; is it okay for me to break the tab up and use little bits of it when soaking the food? How long should it soak for?

Button is so sweet and sleepy, it's hard work being that cute.

Very cute picture......

Not sure how long to soak it, i was able to get a needle and syringe and injected it directly into the food lol

A needle & syringe sounds like a great idea.

For at least an hour got it. Is soaking overnight too long?

i believe people do soak foods overnight, but leave it in the fridge so it doesnt get warm and go bad

i did just that. Tried Vettel on bloodworms and s/he didn't go for them so i soaked some snails (probably killed the snails) in the meds overnight in the fridge and s/he chomped them all up this morning. Glad i'm finally getting medication into the skinny little fish.
