THIS TANK IS NOT 275 GALLONS BEING A CORNER TANK. Also the tank shape is not suitable for any dogface puffer, btw I have the black and white version of this puffer @ 4 " long

Ok I just doubled checked, it's not a 275 it's a 250. Sorry about the mix up. Still, I wouldn't keep a Golden puffer in a 180 long term....I guess to each there own.

trekenk wrote:Hard to tell by that picture but that isn't necessarily a corner tank ( it could just be put kiddy corner against the wall). Hard to tell so I don't know but judging by the Naso tang in there IF it is full grown that is a larger tank. I do maintance on a 275 gallon that is shaped just like that tank but is flat on the back ( not a corner tank) and place flat against the wall.

He had some other pics, the tank is flat on the back.....it's like a bow front I guess.

Yes it is a corner tank. This particular shape of corner tank is completely unsuitable for any large puffer! As puffers need length to swim which you get from 4 corners not 3! What makes it worse is the idiot that is keeping that puffer in a corner tank doesnt even have live rock to provide the animal with a natural habitat, its just some crappy plastic corals

I agree--unless there is a sump under there filled with LR, that guy's got a TON of water changes in front of him!
